Bring Your Character to Life

Describe your character in detail.

The character description section is pre-filled with a template text, serving as a framework for your character descriptions. You can customize this template in the app settings to suit your needs.

What are these little colorful symbols all about?

In our software, characters are represented by small, colorful symbols. You can assign a unique color to each character. Main characters are distinguished by their full names displayed in their assigned color, whereas supporting characters are represented by their first initial enclosed in a colored circle.

Tip:

To help readers easily distinguish between characters, consider using names with different initial letters.

How do I create a new character?

To create a new character, navigate to Building Blocks -> Figures, and tap the '+' symbol in the top right corner.

How do I delete a figure?

To delete a character, navigate to Building Blocks -> Figures, and swipe the character's name to the left.

Automatically add a character to new scenes?

If the 'Automatically add to new scenes' setting is enabled, the character will automatically be included in any new scenes you create.

How does it work with character traits?

Character traits can be assigned to each character using the special symbol in the top navigation bar. An extensive selection of traits is available for character development. These traits are by default associated with the character's adult personality.

Character traits are shown on my figure, but I cannot edit or delete them. What's going on there?

Character traits displayed on your character are specific to their adult personality and can be edited in this mode. To modify traits related to other personality aspects, use the 'Characterization' tool in the 'Develop Characters' section.

In our system, the names of the main characters are fully written out to highlight their significance and presence in the narrative. In contrast, the names of secondary characters are not fully displayed, to focus more attention on the main characters and maintain clarity.
